Competitors came from near and far, including riders from central Queensland and northern New South Wales.

The program included thousands of dollars of prize money across a number of maiden, novice, juvenile, junior, open, ladies and encouragement drafts.

Golden Hobbles Campdraft president James McAuley said the weekend was a massive success.

“We had quality livestock and the competition was of a very high standard,” he said.

Hayley Knudsen won the junior draft on Donald with 87 points. Shari Knudsen won the restricted open on Chic’s Playgirl with 179 points. Theresa Lawrence won the ladies final on Enigma. Gavin Roberts won the open on Dusty after he and Matt Durkin tied on 171 points. Sandy Stewart won the encouragement draft on Clancy, with 80 points.

Cameron Lee, William Goetsch and Jody Crozier won the bareback cut out.

The committee would like to thank the Maller Family and Roma Downs for donating cattle, and Stirling Roadways for transporting the cattle to and from the event. McAuley said the weekend would not have been possible without the help and generosity of sponsors and the committee.

“We really appreciate the Maller family and Roma Downs for donating the cattle in such dry times, we couldn’t have held the campdraft without their support,” he said.
