Furry fun at Bilby Ball
FROCKED up in fancy dress, ball-goers danced the night away in aid of the Save the Bilby Fund. The second annual Fur Ball was held in Charleville on Saturday to mark National Bilby Day.
This year’s theme of the ball was the letter “F” and attendees looked the part, dressed as everything from fortune tellers to flamingoes.
FLAPPERS, fortune tellers and flamingoes paraded around the Charleville Showground for the Fur Ball on Saturday night.
This was the second year the event had run, and this year’s theme was the letter “F”.
The ball was held in light of National Bilby Day and proceeds raised from the event are donated to the Save the Bilby Fund, a national charity dedicated to saving the bilby.
This year’s ball guests were kept entertained with the colourful characters from Howzatt? Entertainment and the beautiful tunes from Soul Republic.
Billie the Bilby who made her debut at the Big Red Bash also stepped out on the night to pose in photos with her fans.
