Death In Paradise

The main actors have changed as the seasons have rolled on, but the appeal of Death In Paradise shines on. The fruity cocktail consisting of a mediocre police team, along with a sand- andsun averse main inspector, investigating murders on a beautiful tropical island is hard to resist. Tonight, season six premieres with a cleverly construed case. The death of a scientist on the side of a live volcano proves a difficult case to crack for Humphrey (Kris Marshall, pictured) and his team when everything appears to point to a death from natural causes. Unpacked with great attention to detail and the usual absence of gore, it’s a police procedural with heart.
