Jess brings the love to Lisbon
Eurovision, SBS, Wednesday, May 9 at 5am and 7.30pm
THE 63rd Eurovision Song Contest is about to begin in Lisbon, Portugal, as Australia’s most recognisable, all-round entertainer, Jessica Mauboy (pictured), will take to the stage in front of an estimated 200 million people for the world’s biggest song competition.
In 2014, Jessica made history when she was invited to perform as an interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark, being the first non-European solo artist to do so. This time, she’s competing for Australia and a shot at Eurovision glory.
Hosting duo Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey (also pictured) return after their debut as hosts and commentators at the 2017 contest. They will be at the helm of SBS’s Eurovision coverage on the ground from the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
