Singers face off in knockouts
The Voice, Nine, Sunday at 7pm
AFTER a mammoth opening round of blind auditions, 48 singers have earned spots on the teams of superstar coaches Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Delta Goodrem and Joe Jonas.
But those teams will be cut in half by the end of the knock-out round.
Each coach will put their artists into four groups of three. Each group is given a theme and each artist sings a song within that theme.
One artist from each group wins and immediately progresses and the others do not. However, each coach is granted two steals to add to their team from the unsuccessful artists.
At the end of the knock-outs, each coach will have just six artists to take into the battles. How will Kelly Rowland’s loop artist Sam Perry (pictured) fare?
