Celebrating our businesses
BUSINESSES in the Maranoa were commended Saturday evening at the annual Commerce Roma Maranoa Business Awards.
Roma Explorer’s Inn had around 300 of the best and the brightest from the business community, rewarding those who went above and beyond their regular duties.
The business awards are the region’s only comprehensive awards scheme which offer specific and meaningful benefits to the Maranoa business community.
An initiative to recognise local businesses, the Maranoa Business Awards have been expanded to encompass a category for almost every type of business enterprise in the Maranoa, including customer service excellence.
Whether it be a small or large business, in retail, trade or tourism, there was an awards category for everyone.
This year, there were three industry categories for the business award section – tourism and hospitality, retail and wholesale distribution and trades, professions and services.
AWARDS NIGHT: Chloe Gordon, Rachael Dennison and Siobhan Dow'Cornish.
Noelene Welk and Scott McDonell.
