People here are hating the Mazda CX-9 for being an SUV and not a low-riding car, but

the truth is that this car suits people better than a ‘traditional’ wagon. Holden and Ford wagons were popular because they were cheap and could fit families with cargo space to spare, yet without the compromises of an off-roader. The Mazda fits that bill to perfection and it has nailed its goals, that’s why it’s COTY and it deserves it like the Territory did in 2004 for smashing class expectations. This is the Falcodore wagon of 2017. This is coming from a die hard Holden fan and traditionalist as well; like it or not the CX-9 deserves respect.
