SUCCESS BY DESIGN

Designer Robert Melville was sponsored by Land Rover through his transportation design degree at London’s Royal College of Art. Upon graduation in 2003, he worked on the LRX show car and Evoque for three years before joining GM in the UK where he was part of the Cadillac, Hummer, Buick and Corvette design team, culminating in the 2009 Cadillac Converj concept. Headhunted by former Mclaren director of design Frank Stephenson in 2009, Melville first worked on the P1 and then 570S, 570 GT and 570S Spider, as well as the Senna and Senna GTR, finally stepping into Stephenson’s office when his former boss left the company in 2017.
