RECENTLY LES CLEFS D’OR Queensland held a bi-monthly meeting hosted by Thomas Mcintyre, Concierge Services Manager of Pacific Fair. It was held in the boardroom of their tourism lounge.

One of the many things discussed during the meeting was the Annual Les Clefs d’or Hospitality Charity Ball, which is to be held at the Sofitel Brisbane Central on 10 July. The ball is run to benefit the Queensland section’s charity, White Cloud Foundation, raising money through the society’s raffle which is drawn on the night.

After the meeting, Thomas took us on a tour of the centre showing off all of the jewels in the crown, which make Pacific Fair the outstanding shopping centre it is today. We were then met by Daniel Ridgeway of the Ridgeway group at his Bin 232 restaurant for predinner drinks. Here he explained all of his restaurant’s concepts and new ventures, and he then escorted us to his Italian restaurant Rivas located in the Boulevard section of Pacific Fair. We sampled some of the restaurant’s iconic dishes and may I say so myself, all were excellent and appreciated by all the members. Please don’t take my word for it, I encourage everyone coming to the Gold Coast to visit Pacific Fair and take advantage of Daniel’s hospitality.
