THE JOSEPHINE ULRICK AND WIN SCHUBERT PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD 2017
An exhibition of the finalists from Queensland’s richest prize for contemporary Australian photography, The Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2017 opens this month at The Arts Centre Gold Coast. Work from this year’s finalists covers a diverse range of techniques and themes including portraiture, landscape, abstract and fashion. There is also a strong representation of contemporary topics affecting twenty-first century Australians such as climate change, gender representation and shifting economic and technological landscapes.
