Yayoi Kusama: Life is the Heart of a Rainbow
Co-curated with the National Gallery Singapore, this vibrant exhibition surveys the work of leading contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. A wild and wonderful journey through significant moments in Kusama’s career, the exhibition explores over seven decades of the artist’s practice through more than 70 works.
In an Australian exclusive, “Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum” is now on at Queensland Museum. The exhibition features more than 110 original artefacts including pieces of the Colosseum, authentic elaborately decorated bronze gladiator helmets and original arms and armour preserved in the ashes of Pompeii. In this very rare and unique opportunity visitors are able to immerse themselves in the everyday lives of Ancient Roman Gladiators with interactive games and displays that reveal who gladiators were, where they lived and how they trained. The exhibition features artefacts from seven Italian museums and institutions.
