CIRQUE DU SOLEIL STAGES ‘KOOZA’

Where Melbourne - - Where Now Live On Stage -

“KOOZA”, Cirque du Soleil’s latest Australian production, is on at Flemington Racecourse. The show marks a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil, combining two circus traditions—acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendour and fragility, presented in a colourful mélange that emphasises slapstick humour. It also explores themes of strength, fragility, turmoil, harmony, fear, identity, recognition and power. The show follows The Innocent as he takes a journey of self-discovery. That journey brings him into contact with numerous comic characters such as the King, the Trickster and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog.
