Les Clefs d’or
STATE DIRECTOR FOR VICTORIA
THE VICTORIAN MEMBERS started off the month by celebrating the announcement of our latest International Honouree Member, Where Magazine’s own Catherine Stevens. Members arranged a surprise celebration at the Hophaus in Southgate. It was a well-deserved celebration for a very popular member!
A taste of the Mornington Peninsula has come to Melbourne city with Green Olive at Red Hill winery opening a store in the Causeway Arcade. Members were invited to sample goods at the store by owners Greg and Sue O’donoghue. It was a great opportunity to not only taste their fantastic wines but also try their range of body lotions. We recommend you pop in, if you can’t make it down to the Mornington Peninsula.
Our latest member’s meeting was recently hosted by Crown Towers. Afterwards we were invited by the Emerald Group to visit their stores in the Crown complex. We had the opportunity to visit Graff Diamonds, Rolex and LK Boutique. It was a fascinating insight into their luxury brand of products and a great opportunity to meet the managers of each store. Several concierge were seen to be making notes on future purchases.
Dialogue in the Dark is a new venture that has opened in the Docklands area of Melbourne. Opened in partnership with Guide Dogs Australia, it gives you the chance to experience a day in Melbourne without the sense of sight. Several of Melbourne’s concierge were invited to walk through and try the experience. Assisted by their guide Francois, the concierge were walked through the experience of riding a Melbourne tram, going to the footy at the MCG and even just crossing Bourke Street. It is a very unique experience and well recommended for all to try.
