Shukah Comes to Windsor
From the team behind The Black Toro and Sezar, comes Shukah. Meaning ‘shop’ or ‘market’ in Armenian, Shukah features a casual sharing-style menu filled with mouthwatering mezze plates and hearty mains. Try the wild green and feta borek with spiced onion jam or the toasted lamb manti with garlic yoghurt and sumac. Shukah’s wine list features unique drops with a strong focus on local vineyards as well as wines sourced from Armenia, Lebanon, Georgia and Morocco. Designed by Erika Lancini, the space combines breezy pastel colours with sleek black lines, accentuated by banquettes and high stools. The dining room then looks into the kitchen, where a specially imported Mibrasa charcoal oven takes centre stage. Daily 5.30pm–late. 104 Chapel Street, Windsor. 9521 3858. shukah.com.au
