ALL OF THE STAR WARS nerds in Melbourne’s concierge community were happy to be invited by LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne to their Star Wars night. Featuring the world’s biggest LEGO Millennium Falcon spaceship and several Jedi and Stormtroopers walking around entertaining the crowd. LEGOLAND had also dressed their famous LEGO versions of Melbourne’s iconic buildings up in a Star Wars theme as well. It was great to see Stormtroopers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and TIE fighters landing in Flinders Street. All the concierge had a great night and it was fun to feel like kids again. n The concierge were also invited to try The Mayfair restaurant on the forecourt of the Sofitel Hotel. Featuring classic French bistro cuisine, we were treated to a sample of their new menu. We were also lucky enough to have their jazz duo entertain us for the night. The Mayfair is a great new addition to the Melbourne dining scene.

n One of Melbourne’s established restaurants, Burma Lane, invited the concierge to sample their latest menu. Featuring some new spins on Burmese food, the highlight was definitely the wagyu cheeseburger bacon dumplings. While sounding like a strange combination, these dumplings tasted incredible!

n Planning has started for the annual Victorian Les Clefs d’or Golf Day. This year it is being held at the fantastic Moonah Links Golf Course. Open to all concierge and front office staff, this promises to be another great day out and we look forward to seeing everyone out on the course.
