Les Clefs d’or

Where Sydney - - Contents - BY MARK ANDERSON, STATE DIRECTOR FOR NSW

IT MIGHT BE COLD and winter in Sydney, but there are still many different experiences to enjoy our beautiful city. From small cafés and boutique coffee to hidden bars for that special warming cocktail, there are some truly unique experiences that can be hard to find without the help of a local. For your own experiences, make sure that you reach out to your hotel concierge for their own insider tips and information—you can tell that they’re a member of Les Clefs d’or by the golden keys on their lapels.

Sometimes for our members however, it’s not always about just recommending restaurants and attractions. A perfect example of the amazing reach of Les Clefs d’or was highlighted recently by one of our members, who was contacted by a friend who had found a wallet clearly belonging to a tourist visiting our beautiful city. Following a simple email sent to all our members and fellow concierge the finder was able to locate the guest and have the wallet on the way to their hotel within a matter of minutes. This simple contact allowed the traveller to continue their holiday without having the stress of having lost credit cards and identification.

Les Clefs d’or Australia is a friendly society of hotel concierge, and is a chapter of the international Union Internationale des Concierges d’hotels. Each and every member of Les Clefs d’or strives to provide the utmost in caring, attentive service to their hotel guests, and our society motto, ‘In Service through Friendship’, reflects the manner in which this is achieved.

Les Clefs d’or and fellow concierge enjoy a dessert degustation at 12-Micron in Barangaroo.
