Ital­ian Cucina MARTA Comes to Rush­cut­ters Bay

Flavio Carnevale opens his ded­i­cated cucina Ro­mana, MARTA, in mid-septem­ber at Rush­cut­ters Bay. From a bustling open-style kitchen come dishes with a ta­pered fo­cus such as baked an­chovies with sautéed curly en­dive, bu­ca­tini mus­sels tomato e pecorino, tonnarelli (thick spaghetti) ca­cio e pepe, ab­bac­chio alla scot­ta­dito (lamb cut­lets) and filetti di bac­calà (cod fil­let). The re­fined Ro­man­fo­cus is mir­rored in a new bar of­fer­ing, with high-topped tables and a ded­i­cated spritz bar-in­spired drinks list geared to em­body the en­ergy and the­atre of Rome’s fa­mous drink­ing holes.
