POLLINATION

Where Sydney - - WHERE NOW | WHAT’S ON -

Showcasing the astounding hues of a variety of native and non-native flowers, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney’s new “Pollination” floral display creatively illustrates nature’s miracle of pollination. The Calyx’s internationally-recognised green wall comes to life with words and images illustrating how pollen is dispersed, while a 50-metre flowerbed grouped into different colour schemes of purple, red and cream reflects the role colours play in pollinator attraction. In addition to the display, the new attraction features a variety of flower-themed events, including tours and pollination stories, music, science and educational events, workshops, photography exhibitions and microscopes and colouring stations for the kids.
