Les Clefs d’or

Where Sydney - - Contents - BY MARK ANDERSON, STATE DIRECTOR FOR NSW

IT HAS BEEN A BUSY month for Sydney concierge, with our members enjoying the start of our leisure travel season to Sydney. With full hotels, bustling restaurants and spectacular weather, summer is a fantastic time to be in Sydney. Some iconic Sydney experiences include spending time at the world-famous Bondi Beach, after walking along the picturesque coastal walk from either Bronte or Coogee. Another great option would be to take the ferry across from Circular Quay to Manly Beach and the short stroll to Shelly Beach.

The festive season is a very merry time in Sydney, with many key events leading up to Sydney’s worldfamous New Year’s Eve celebration. Throughout December there are a variety of large and small events including the Martin Place Interactive Christmas Tree and live carols each night leading up to Christmas.

For those looking to experience cultural events, December is a wonderful time of the year with the annual Sydney International Art Series. This year’s two major exhibitions are “Rembrandt and the Dutch Golden Age: Masterpieces from the Rijksmuseum” at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, whilst the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia is showing “Sip My Ocean” an all new exhibition by Swiss video and multimedia artist Pipilotti Rist.

These are just a few examples of the many amazing experiences throughout Sydney this summer. For directions, or a tailored recommendation just for you, don’t forget to see your concierge in the hotel lobby prior to heading out for the day. Look for the gold keys on their lapel to denote that they are a member of Les Clefs d’or and say hello! LES CLEFS D’OR
