SCIENCE LOVERS BIG AND SMALL get ready for the 2018 Sydney Science Festival. The pro­gram is jam-packed with over 200 events across 90 venues. This year’s festival brings to­gether some of the great­est minds in science to­day, in­clud­ing Sydney Science Festival Am­bas­sador and astronomer, Dr Lisa Har­vey-smith, Indige­nous Astronomer Kirsten Banks, lead­ing Ar­ti­fi­cial In­tel­li­gence ex­pert Ellen Broad, A.I. re­searcher Toby Walsh, co­me­dian and pub­lic health prac­ti­tioner Alanta Col­ley, for­mer Greens leader Bob Brown, and 2018 Aus­tralian of the Year quan­tum physi­cist Michelle Simmons. High­light events in­clude Science in the Swamp at Cen­ten­nial Park, Su­per Science Satur­day at the Aus­tralian Mu­seum, the “Hu­man non Hu­man” ex­hi­bi­tion and Big Science Day at the Pow­er­house Mu­seum, and the af­ter-hours favourite, MAASIVE Lates: Science.
