Polocrosse club ex­cited for home car­ni­val

THE Bowen Polocrosse Club is look­ing for­ward to a large turnout of clubs trav­el­ling from all over the state to play at their an­nual home car­ni­val this week­end.

Play­ers from as far as the Gold Coast, Tansey, Bauhinia, and Cal­liope are among the clubs ex­pected to at­tend.

The Bowen club is known for hav­ing a friendly, re­laxed but com­pet­i­tive car­ni­val with great fun af­ter the games have fin­ished for the day.

The games will be played all day on both Satur­day and Sun­day from 7.30am with fi­nals on Sun­day af­ter­noon.

En­try is free and there is a can­teen and bar open all week­end.

The club in­vites all lo­cals to come down and en­joy the week­end as well as ex­pe­ri­ence the ex­cite­ment of the adrenaline­fu­elled game.

The grounds are lo­cated at the sports com­plex near the Coun­cil De­pot on Wood­lands Rd, Bowen.
