Top sail­ing in twi­light race

SAILORS com­pet­ing in last Wed­nes­day’s Whit­sun­day Sail­ing Club twi­light race were rewarded with ex­cel­lent con­di­tions for the weekly event.

Reig­ni­tion skip­pered by Charles Wal­lis, led Di­vi­sion 2 around the course beat­ing An­other Fi­asco (Damian Suck­ling) across the line by 24 sec­onds.

On cor­rected time the race was won by Queens­land Marine Ser­vices (John Gal­loway), with Twister (Kevin Fog­a­rty) and Trea­sure VIII (Harold Menelaus), tak­ing out the mi­nor places.

Anthea (Dewi Hughes), en­joyed the strong winds and led the Di­vi­sion 3 fleet around the course to win on cor­rected time.

High Tide (Shan­non Hart), sailed well to pick up se- cond place on line hon­ours and cor­rected time, with Lorna Rose Too (Pete Mitchel­son), tak­ing out third place.
