State ti­tles in Prossie this week­end

THE Can­non­va­l­ley Pony Club are host­ing the Pony Club As­so­ci­a­tion of Queens­land (PCAQ) State Dressage and Com­bined Train­ing Cham­pi­onships at the Proser­pine Show­grounds this Fri­day, Satur­day and Sun­day. More than 150 rid­ers and their fam­i­lies are com­ing from all over the state from as far as the Gold Coast, Hugh­en­den and Ather­ton.

Many are stay­ing af­ter the event to en­joy the Whit­sun­days as a hol­i­day des­ti­na­tion.

Club rep­re­sen­ta­tive Brooke Mans­field said that they are look­ing for­ward to host­ing the event.

“We are a small club and want to say thanks to our many helpers and spon­sors. We are host­ing this pres­ti­gious event but we would love to have more helpers if any­one is in­ter­ested,” she said.

“No ex­pe­ri­ence needed just come along to our vol­un­teers meet­ing on Thurs­day at 5pm at the show grounds. We would love to see you there.”

Mrs Mans­field wel­comed ev­ery­one along to sup­port the lo­cal rid­ers and en­joy a beau­ti­ful day. Many spon­sors have helped with mak­ing this event pos­si­ble we would like to thank the fol­low­ing busi­nesses for their sup­port.
