Ron­ald Mcdon­ald vis­its Cannonvale

CHIL­DREN at Cannonvale McDon­ald’s were treated to an in-store ap­pear­ance by Ron­ald McDon­ald on Mon­day.

The com­pany’s fa­mous mas­cot was hard to miss with his trade­mark curly, bright red hair, mas­sive red clown shoes and yel­low and white out­fit.

McDon­ald’s fran­chisee Mike Muller said Ron­ald was tour­ing a num­ber of stores in Queens­land through­out the school hol­i­days.

“Ron­ald is do­ing a four­day tour of seven dif­fer­ent Queens­land stores and we were the last stop on the tour,” he said.

“This is the big­gest roll-up I have seen for a visit from Ron­ald and it’s great to see fam­i­lies come along to meet with him and take some pho­tos.”

The com­pany mas­cot has vis­ited the Air­lie Beach store a few times in the past but Mon­day’s meet and greet was his first trip to the Cannonvale store.

Dozens of kids got the chance to say hello and share a laugh with Ron­ald who spent al­most an hour pos­ing in pho­to­graphs and en­ter­tain­ing cus­tomers on Mon­day af­ter­noon.
