Shar­ing the ex­pe­ri­ences of pil­grim­age in north­ern Spain

A WOMAN who re­cently com­pleted an 800km pil­grim­age across the Camino de San­ti­ago in north­ern Spain was the spe­cial guest speaker at the Zonta Club of the Whit­sun­days break­fast meet­ing on Tues­day.

Tanya Ste­wart is the founder of Life in Fo­cus and is now writ­ing a book about her ex­pe­ri­ences on the Camino and how they re­late to suc­cess and fail­ure in life.

Ms Ste­wart has stud­ied nu­tri­tional medicine and life coach­ing which fol­lows her be­lief that one must have both a healthy mind and body.

Her busi­ness Life in Fo­cus uses a coach­ing tech­nique in­clud­ing ques­tion­ing that ex­plores where an in­di­vid­ual cur­rently is in their life, where they want to be and what choices they have for clos­ing the gap.

Pres­i­dent of the Zonta Club of the Whit­sun­days Roz Jen­nings said Ms Ste­wart’s pil­grim­age was in­spir­ing, best de­scribed as “a life jour­ney crammed into five weeks, even with the blis­ters on your feet you have to keep go­ing”.
