Supermodel on Hayman
BRITISH supermodel and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was on Hayman Island last week, taking part in a photo shoot for cosmetics brand ModelCo.
The island was chosen as the backdrop for ModelCo’s new summer advertising campaign featuring Ms Huntington-Whiteley, who was also announced as the beauty brand’s official ambassador.
Hayman Island’s resort was the scene of a lavish gala dinner for ModelCo, with 60 VIP guests, including Australia’s top fashion and style influencers.
Dannii Minogue, Yeojin Bae, Melissa Hoyer, Kylie Gillies and Kate Waterhouse, were among the famous faces at the black-tie event.
Hosted by Ms HuntingtonWhiteley and ModelCo founder and CEO Shelley Barrett, the dinner was themed with ModelCo’s signature touch of pink. Guests were served Laurent Perrier rose champagne and a selection of culinary delights created by Hayman’s award-winning team.
There was also a performance from songstress Emma Birdsall.
This is the second year ModelCo has selected Hayman Island as the location for its annual signature event.
Ms Barrett said there was a great synergy between ModelCo and Hayman, both premium and iconic Australian brands.
“The combination of Rosie’s and Hayman Island’s natural beauty has created a picture perfect summer campaign, set to run in September, which we are very excited about,” she said.
Hayman’s executive general manager of sales and marketing, Anna Guillan, said it was a pleasure to see Hayman and ModelCo collaborating on the project together.
