$100k mission to raise funds for Save the Children
TWO beared friends rode through Proserpine on their postie bikes last Thursday as part of an epic 8000km charity ride to raise funds for child rights organisation Save the Children.
Phil Cerbu, 23, and Anthony Tutuian, 20, were aiming to raise $100,000 for the charity and finished their adventure-packed 36-day trip with their arrival in Brisbane yesterday.
Starting from Mr Cerbu’s home in Narre Warren North, Victoria, the duo travelled through Mildura, Alice Springs, Mount Isa and Normanton on the Gulf of Carpentaria, before tracking south back to Brisbane. To make a donation to their cause, go to https:// give.everydayhero.com/au/BeardedPosties.
