$100k mis­sion to raise funds for Save the Chil­dren

TWO beared friends rode through Proser­pine on their postie bikes last Thurs­day as part of an epic 8000km char­ity ride to raise funds for child rights or­gan­i­sa­tion Save the Chil­dren.

Phil Cerbu, 23, and An­thony Tu­tu­ian, 20, were aim­ing to raise $100,000 for the char­ity and fin­ished their ad­ven­ture-packed 36-day trip with their ar­rival in Bris­bane yes­ter­day.

Start­ing from Mr Cerbu’s home in Narre War­ren North, Vic­to­ria, the duo trav­elled through Mil­dura, Alice Springs, Mount Isa and Nor­man­ton on the Gulf of Car­pen­taria, be­fore track­ing south back to Bris­bane.
