WITH all the concern about the dredging sludge, why not dump the sludge well outside of the continental shelf where it is so deep that by the time it gets to the top it will do no harm to the barrier reef or our fishing or anything else?
Both ways, the jobs and no damage to one and all, but make the mines dump it miles out from the continental shelf. Think about it and it will work for all concerned. Not inside the barrier reef if they do it will be another Gladstone affair.
