A SOCIAL darts competition has started at the Airlie Beach Bowls Club on Wednesday nights, and players are invited to come down for a game.

Last week they had enough players to play eight rounds.

The winner was ‘Pig’ Brian Masters just ahead of runner-up Ian Westerman.

The lady with the highest score was Teresa Wilson and the men’s highest score was Ben Cutrone.

Les Thomson started up the club earlier this year and said everyone is welcome to come and have a go as it’s an enjoyable game of skill, and the Wednesday night comp offers a good midweek challenge for all ages.

To get involved at the bowls club in Jubilee Pockets on Wednesday nights, call the club on 4946 7656.

ALL WELCOME: Mary and Les Thomson with Alex and Teresa Wilson at the Airlie Beach Bowls Club for their Wednesday night darts competition.
