SARINA’S home crowd were thrilled on Saturday when the Crocodiles scored an upset win over the visiting Proserpine Brahmans.

Having only dropped three games heading into the clash Proserpine were firm favourites but were unable to match the home side’s intensity and went down 18-8.

Three converted tries for Sarina was enough as the Brahmans managed only two tries and no conversions in the 10-point loss.

Five converted tries to the Brahmans one helped Sarina to an easy 30-6 victory at Ray Edwards Oval on Saturday.

The Brahmans reserves team was short on players but a number of under-18s players stepped up to play two full games and ensure the game was possible.

Despite their best efforts Proserpine were unable to match it with the home side and fell to their eighth loss of the season.

Currently with an 11-2 win/ loss record this season the Brahmans young guns look primed for a deep finals run.
