New date for AGM

THE date of the first AGM for the Air­lie Beach Cham­ber of Com­merce has been moved to Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 21. The time frame has been ex­tended to give busi­nesses more time to get their mem­ber­ship and vot­ing forms in.

Only mem­bers can vote and nom­i­nate for com­mit­tee po­si­tions at the AGM.

Nom­i­na­tion forms for com­mit­tee po­si­tions will be is­sued to mem­bers on Mon­day, July 29. Mem­bers are ad­vised that nom­i­na­tions must be sub­mit­ted in writ­ing by close of busi­ness on Mon­day, Au­gust 12. Vot­ing pa­pers list­ing can­di­dates’ names and po­si­tions will be is­sued to all mem­bers on Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 14. Vot­ing pa­pers will be ac­cepted up to and at the AGM.

The AGM will take place at the Air­lie Beach Ho­tel at 6.30pm. Those who wish to at­tend are asked to re­port to the ho­tel re­cep­tion on the night.
