Whitsunday Times - - COMMUNITY NEWS -

CAREER counsellor Naomi Lawrence held free job and career search workshops at the Beach Library in Cannonvale and the Proserpine Library last week.

Mrs Lawrence runs a successful career leadership coaching business called C-IQ Career Intelligence and has worked with over 4000 individuals to transition and develop their careers.

Year 12 students from across the Whitsundays and members of the public looking for a new start attended the workshops to gain insight into how to reach their career goals.

The workshop focused on understanding your assets and transferable skills, finding direction, tapping into the hidden job market and working on resumes and interviewing skills.

There was also a lucky door prize with the winners taking home a copy of Naomi’s Career Transition Workbook.

CAREER ADVICE: Manager of Libraries and Community Development Sharon Tollard, director at C-IQ Career Intelligence Naomi Lawrence and Beach Library team leader Kerry Dorman.
