On trend with lush lashes and nail art
THE colder weather is setting in and what better way to shake the winter blues than by reinventing yourself with the latest in season nail trends or some new look lashes.
Nail technician Chrissie Fast from Nailz By Dezign said bright corals, melons and versatile summery shades had been on trend this season.
“People are always coming off the street and asking for shellac but we have a new thicker and stronger alternative called Perfect Nail Gel which dries instantly and lasts longer,” she said.
Ms Fast said an exciting new technique, which involves applying splashes of coloured foil to the nail to add a new dimension to basic colours, is also in demand.
She said Nailz by Dezign offered a complete service from natural looking French nails to full colour acrylics with diamonties.
Owner of Nailz by Dezign Jen McGee said long-luscious lashes were the best way to show off eyes this season.
“Li Lash is a non-irritating formula which is safe for sensitive eyes and is one of the only products which encourages the growth of new lashes,” she said.
“Fake lashes are great for a special occasion but Li Lash is a fantastic option for women who want a lasting full lash effect every day.”
Ms Fast will be attending the International Beauty Expo in Sydney next month and is looking forward to bringing back some exciting new ideas and products.
