Gentle stress relief BSR moving to new quarters
DO YOU need some release from daily stresses? Owner of Body Stress Release, Sandy Melvin, recommends people who suffer from constant stress and pain to visit them at their new location in Prosperine.
“Many people, who experience pain or discomfort, whether in the back or other areas, have reported amazing improvements to their general well-being.”
“Body Stress Release (BSR) is a very gentle technique and as it does not use any form of manipulation it is highly suitable for all ages from babies to the elderly,” Mrs Melvin said.
She said that everyone was exposed to stresses every single day.
“When the level of stress reaches a point of overload, stress becomes locked into the structures of the body as lines of tension, which need to be addressed,” she said.
“They often cause muscles to lock up and protect the body which can stay like this for many years. These and tight muscles often cause postural distortion and also place a lot of pressure on the nerves.”
Mrs Melvin said that pressure on the nerves usually manifested as numbness, tingling and pain which can also be referred to other areas of the body.
The BSR practitioners use the client’s body as a biofeedback mechanism to find these lines of tension. By providing precise stimulation to the exact areas found, the bodies communication is restored which triggers the bodies self-healing response.
Many clients experience great relief from pain as BSR stimulates the body to release this locked in tension and help restore the body back to wellness.
BSR are moving their complementary health practice from Cannonvale to Proserpine from Monday, August 12, and they look forward to treating their customers at the new lcoation.
