THERE was plenty of action on the courts on Monday afternoon with junior social fixtures in full swing. Players on the afternoon who showed great rallying skills were Matthew Brown, Jasper McKinnon and Taylor Bannister on the mini courts.

On the full size court, Daniel Cullen, Chris Latter, Jade Davis and Hayley Denmeade played some exciting games.

A large number of local juniors competed in the junior development round robin at Proserpine and Whitsunday courts on July 13-14.

Trent Murray, Matt Bluck, Emma Bluck, Amy Hungerford, Sienna Mau, Rebeka Beveridge, Darcy Larkin and Jordyn Mau displayed wonderful sportsmanship and all finished well in their respective divisions.

Thursday cardio players were put through a very hectic workout and Thursday evening social tennis delivered an entertaining match between Tad Nowiciki, Norm Hold, Jenny Southern and Daniel Scott, ensuring plenty of laughter.

Friday morning cardio has been washed out over two consecutive Fridays so the girls are hoping to hit the courts tomorrow morning at 9am.

Saturday arvo social tennis continues to be popular and more faces are always welcome to come join in the fun.

Coaching pupils of the week are the Proserpine super group training at the Proserpine State School on Tuesday afternoons, with particularly good work Patrick Botta and Bailey Pearce.

There will be a fun family doubles round robin at Cannonvale school courts on Friday, August 9, starting at 5.15pm.
