Fans keen for Cutters clash
THERE are only 10 days to go until the Whitsunday Sports Park hosts the Mackay Cutters and Norths Devils for round 20 of the intrust Super Cup.
The Intrust Super Cup is the second strongest rugby league competition in the country and the Cutters will be playing at the sports park in Jubilee Pocket next weekend as part of the QRL’s annual country round.
VIP tickets for the clash cost $100 which covers entry, premium seats, premium food via hot and cold platters from the Jubilee Tavern plus assorted beers, wines and spi- rits. These tickets are limited and are only available presale by calling 0418 622 224 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
General admission tickets can only be bought on the day and cost $10 adults and $2 for under-16s.
Rugby league fans in Airlie will have the chance to get up close and personal with the Mackay Cutters on Saturday, August 3, with a special competition run by the Whitsunday Times in conjunction with the organisers of the event.
The grand prize for children (aged between 516) includes a family pass (two adults, two kids) to the game, a Cutters merchandise pack and the chance to be a ball boy and hand the ball to the players before the game.
The second junior prize will be a family pass and the chance to be a ball boy for the game.
There is also a senior prize up for grabs with the lucky winner receiving two VIP tickets to the game which includes entry and food and drinks on the day.
