WHITSUNDAY residents are starting to notice the red and purple hut at the Cannonvale Markets, but owner Jenni Wasson says don’t be deceived by its small exterior as the new business has a whole lot on offer.
The Hut Whitsundays is a unique local business offering a range of products and services including sign writing, shoe repairs, dry cleaning and alterations, garden and property maintenance, musical instrument sales, hire and repairs, live music bookings, promotions, tourist information and airport transfers to name a few.
The Hut is the brainchild of Whitsunday local Jenni Wasson, who has over 30 years of experience working in sales, marketing and the music industry.
It is an integrated networking business that assists customers by finding a business, service or product to suit their everyday needs in specialist areas of tourism, services, music, marketing, transfers and repairs.
“The Hut invites people to ask questions whether they need a to book a sailing trip, a band to play at their event or someone to dig a hole in their backyard and I then direct them to quality local businesses to fulfil that need,” she said.
Local businesses are welcome to register with The Hut as a ‘Hut-Star’ and have their details recorded on The Hut’s internal database which is then promoted to customers. Ms Wasson says it is a simple case of when you help promote The Hut, you promote yourself. Ms Wasson has also been the North Queensland distributor of Wasson Plastics for the past three years and has products including the famous Wasson trailer mud guards and has a modern range of coloured plastic, stainless steel chairs on display.
The Hut is conveniently located at the Cannonvale Markets on Shute Harbour Road. It is easily accessible for caravans and trucks with parking at the front and rear of the store.
