Pub­lic drink­ing

PO­LICE are tar­get­ing pub­lic drink­ing in Air­lie Beach’s main street with an in­creas­ing num­ber of foot pa­trols go­ing on in the af­ter­noons. Po­lice will con­tinue to main­tain their pres­ence and warned the pub­lic that if you are caught drink­ing in pub­lic you face a $110 on the spot fine. Any mi­nors found to be drink­ing in pub­lic will be fined $247 and any­one who takes liquor into or away from a li­censed premise will face a $330 fine.
