Funds distributed to promote Whitsundays
THE funds raised from the Ray White gala ball have now been distributed – to help promote the Whitsundays.
The $25,000 raised has been given to Whitsundays Marketing and Development (WMDL) and the Choose Airlie campaign.
Ray White principal Mark Beale has presented WMDL chief executive officer Danial Rochford and the Choose Airlie campaign’s Jo Sweeney with $12,500 each.
Mr Rochford said WMDL would be using the funding for the ‘liveability’ campaign to encourage people to invest and move to the region.
