Whit­sun­day stu­dents star in model search

THREE Proser­pine State High School stu­dents took part in the 2103 RACQ Cen­tral Queens­land Res­cue model search in Mackay on Satur­day.

Kate Robb, 14, Jor­dan Matthews, and Paris Mar­shall, both 15, flew the flag for the Whit­sun­days in the model search which raises funds and aware­ness for the RACQ CQ res­cue he­li­copter.

All the girls have been fundrais­ing for the last few months and Paris won the Char­ity Princess award for rais­ing $23,500, in­clud­ing $20,000 from Green En­ergy Tech­nolo­gies to fit out the RACQ res­cue shed in Mackay.

She also took out the Miss Pho­to­genic award.

The young model and se­nior model search cat­e­gory saw the girls com­pete in three cat­e­gories, show­cas­ing trop­i­cal re­sort wear, day wear and af­ter 5pm wear.
