Four matches were played for the title where Mackay Club players Dot McNamara and Mary Clancy defeated the St. Helen’s team of Nuggie Pratt and Lois Deguara. South Suburban club players Del McKelvie and Di Faulkner defeated Marian club players Fay Erickson and Noela Cox, locals Margo Stanley and Betty Nicolle defeated Pioneer Valley reps Helen Pietzner and Marilyn Head and North Mackay bowlers E.
