Top stunt riders to perform in car park
THE Reef Gateway Hotel car park will be transformed into a freestyle motorbike track to host the skills and talents of two of the country’s most talented stunt riders tomorrow night.
Australia’s number one stunt rider Lukey Luke Follacchio from LLSTUNT Streetbike Freestyle will be teaming up for the first time with 51-Fifty stunt rider Tjay Orsum, to offer an electrifying show in the lead-up to the 2013 PRG Australian Supermoto Championships at the Whitsunday Raceway this weekend.
The mind blowing, technical performance will have engines ready to go at 5pm, with a meet and greet in the Reef Room to follow.
Spectators can expect an array of various tricks including extreme wheelie variations and burnouts in a well thought out and very entertaining show.
Lukey Luke aligned with KTM Motorcycles as the factory stunt rider earlier this year and will be taking to the track on his KTM 690 Duke R, KTM 990 Superduke R and newly prepped KTM 250F Motard.
There will be major KTM Motorcycle giveaways and LLSTUNT Streetbike Freestyle posters and stickers available.
Whitsunday Moto Sports Club president Andrew Auld said the highly anticipated performance would be the first of its kind in the Whitsundays and the perfect way to lead into Australian Supermoto Championships on this weekend at the Whitsunday Raceway.
A huge line-up of quality riders are confirmed for the championships including Angus Reekie, New Zealand champion Toby Summers, British champion Lewis Cornish, Mackay’s Luke and Jack Burgess, local star Andy McLeish and Townsville’s Jarrod Koppe.
