CAPERS Restaurant in Airlie Beach has re-opened after being closed for several months for renovations.
The restaurant, previously known as “Capers Bar and Grill” is now known as “Capers on the Esplanade”.
The newly refurbished restaurant features a fully covered outdoor dining area and a new menu.
The business re-opened to the public on Tuesday after private functions for several days in the lead-up.
One of the new features is the Crafty Beer Bar which will feature beer tastings and a beer and food matching menu in tapas style.
There will also be themed evenings including Mussell Madness on Thursday nights and Squealing Pig Sundays.
General manager Mark Bell said Capers had been operating for 13 years and it was time for a new look.
Capers is part of the Airlie Beach Hotel and the renovations include a resortstyle pool for hotel guests.
