Ca­pers re-opens

CA­PERS Restau­rant in Air­lie Beach has re-opened af­ter be­ing closed for sev­eral months for ren­o­va­tions.

The restau­rant, pre­vi­ously known as “Ca­pers Bar and Grill” is now known as “Ca­pers on the Es­planade”.

The newly re­fur­bished restau­rant fea­tures a fully cov­ered out­door din­ing area and a new menu.

The busi­ness re-opened to the pub­lic on Tues­day af­ter pri­vate func­tions for sev­eral days in the lead-up.

One of the new fea­tures is the Crafty Beer Bar which will fea­ture beer tast­ings and a beer and food match­ing menu in tapas style.

There will also be themed evenings in­clud­ing Mus­sell Mad­ness on Thurs­day nights and Squeal­ing Pig Sun­days.

Gen­eral man­ager Mark Bell said Ca­pers had been op­er­at­ing for 13 years and it was time for a new look.

Ca­pers is part of the Air­lie Beach Ho­tel and the ren­o­va­tions in­clude a re­sort­style pool for ho­tel guests.
