Jubilee Tavern wins national award again

Whitsunday Times - - LOCAL NEWS -

FOR the second time in three years the Jubilee Pocket Tavern Bottle-O has been crowned the best Independent Brands of Australia (IBA) retailer in Australia.

Fresh after taking the Queensland award last week, the local Bottle-O store won a national award and also picked up the retailer of the year at the IBA national conference on the Sunshine Coast last week.

The award saw the local outlet beat out Bottle-O, Cellarbrations and IGA with liquor stores from right across the country

Jubilee Tavern manager Peter Scott said that the award was a testament to the hard work put in by his staff, in particular Bruce Spannagle and Tony O’Farrell.

“Our staff have proven themselves to be the best of the best and are always going above and beyond. The award is a reward for their excellent customer service, product knowledge and the cleanliness of the store,” he said.

“Bruce and Tony lead by example and have been pillars of our success through their high degree of professionalism. Their customer service is second to none.”

SUPER SERVICE: Bruce Spannagle and Tony O'Farrell have helped the Jubilee Pocket Bottle-O to its second national retailer of the year award in the last three years.
