More bouts planned for fight night

AIR­LIE Fight night is back for 2013 with a blockbuster night of box­ing, mixed mar­tial arts (MMA) and Muay Thai set to take place at the Whit­sun­day PCYC on Novem­ber 30.

Fight Night went off with a bang ear­lier this year as hun­dreds flocked to the event on April 27 and this time around there will be 16 fights on the night to keep the crowd en­ter­tained.

Event or­gan­iser Luke An­der­son said they are re­ally try­ing to give peo­ple more bang for their buck with a mas­sive line-up fea­tur­ing lo­cal tal­ents take on vis­it­ing fighters from across the coun­try.

“Our lo­cal fighters will be up against some great fighters from across Aus­tralia and this Fight Night will be our big­gest line-up ever,” he said.

VIP tick­ets for the event cost $69, gen­eral ad­mis­sion are $49, chil­dren’s tick­ets are $29 and a fam­ily pass for two adults and two chil­dren is $99.

Tick­ets can be pur­chased from LA Iconic ,Whit­sun­day Mar­tial Arts or the Whit­sun­day PCYC.

TOUGH CON­TEST: Lo­cal muay Thai fighter Evan Dou­glas took on Mitch Be­ber­nitz at the last Air­lie Fight Night in April. Fight Night is on again in 2013 with 16 fights planned for the Novem­ber 30 event.
