More bouts planned for fight night
AIRLIE Fight night is back for 2013 with a blockbuster night of boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and Muay Thai set to take place at the Whitsunday PCYC on November 30.
Fight Night went off with a bang earlier this year as hundreds flocked to the event on April 27 and this time around there will be 16 fights on the night to keep the crowd entertained.
Event organiser Luke Anderson said they are really trying to give people more bang for their buck with a massive line-up featuring local talents take on visiting fighters from across the country.
“Our local fighters will be up against some great fighters from across Australia and this Fight Night will be our biggest line-up ever,” he said.
VIP tickets for the event cost $69, general admission are $49, children’s tickets are $29 and a family pass for two adults and two children is $99.
Tickets can be purchased from LA Iconic ,Whitsunday Martial Arts or the Whitsunday PCYC.
TOUGH CONTEST: Local muay Thai fighter Evan Douglas took on Mitch Bebernitz at the last Airlie Fight Night in April. Fight Night is on again in 2013 with 16 fights planned for the November 30 event.
