Strong finish for junior tennis
MONDAY afternoon junior social tennis finished term three on a high with both the small courts and full-size courts brimming with children.
This has been a fantastic term for junior tennis with numbers now around 35 juniors taking part.
The club thanked club president Lesley Nolan and volunteers Hilary Marsh, Gordon Brown and Sally Bannister for assisting.
Junior social tennis will be in recess over the school holidays.
The youngsters who travelled to Townsville on the weekend to compete in the A Finals came up against some very strong competition.

Adult social tennis was well attended on Tuesday and Saturday afternoon while Tuesday and Thursday night were down on numbers and would love to see some new faces.
The Cardio Tennis sessions were there usual frantic affair.
Kristie Usher did a fantastic workout on Tuesday morning, the Latter family were in force on Thursday night while on Friday morning Trish Rouse worked hard.
Coaching pupil of the week was Jordan Menzies who was really focused for his lesson.
