Birthday celebration to highlight success
SORRENTO Restaurant and Bar is celebrating its third birthday this Sunday, October 13 and owner operators Petrit and Julie Istogu invite everyone to help them celebrate.
The family friendly restaurant and bar caters to all tastes with Mrs Istogu crediting the locals for helping make their business a success.
“We wanted a friendly, ca- sual atmosphere where people could sit back in comfort and enjoy themselves while listening to great music and taking in the magnificent views of the Whitsundays,” she said.
“But most importantly we wanted a place that offers great service, exceptional quality and value for money.”
Sorrento’s now offers a tra- ditional “sailor’s breakfast” menu every Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am to 11.30am after receiving strong demand from customers.
Also new to the restaurant is a mouth-watering summer menu which features a delicious range of gourmet pizzas, new pastas, tropical seafood platters and a range of traditional old favourites.
Conveniently located at Abell Point Marina, Sorrento’s boasts magnificent views of Pioneer Bay from the restaurant’s two timber decks which keeps customers coming back for the spectacular sunsets.
Sorrento’s hosts a variety of functions on the upper deck from pre-wedding drinks to birthday celebrations and al- so hosts presentation ceremonies for the Abell Point Marina Yacht Club.
They proudly support local musicians with Pop Standen to hit the stage this Sunday.
A delicious range of nibbles and birthday cake will be available on the day. “We are still living our dream and are very proud of what we have achieved,” Mrs Istogu said.
