Girls Night In a hit with Proserpine youth
THE Proserpine Youth Space put on a great night of girly fun for their Cancer Council Girls Night In fundraiser on Friday.
About 20 youths and some of their parents headed along to the event which served to raise funds and awareness for all female cancers.
The team at Whitsunday Hair Studio donated their time to do the nails and hair of all the girls and they also played a number of different games before settling in to watch a movie.
Youth Space assistant coordinator Alanna Schneider said they were really pleased with the turnout for the event and thanked all the local business- es for donating food and prizes for the games.
“We were really happy with how it all went, everyone had a great time and the support we received from Faust’s IGA, Woolworths, Leading Edge Video and the Family Pharmacy was greatly appreciated,” she said.
