Whitsunday Times - - COMMUNITY NEWS -

WITH the Mackay Eisteddfod done and dusted for another year the students of the Dee Jays School of Dance in Proserpine are now gearing themselves for their Annual Stage Spectacular.

The show will run over two days on from Friday, November 8 to Saturday, November 9

The evening will begin with the anticipated light show with lasers, black lights and moving lights showcased to a musical selection to open the show with a bang.

There will be the always adorable babies aged from 3-5years and the ever popular parents group proving you are never too young or old to dance.

Students will perform a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip hop and the evening will conclude with the very entertaining Addams Family musical theatre number.

Thousands of dollars’ worth of costumes and lighting and months of rehearsal will see the local dance students perform a stage show equal to any seen in larger centres.

Bookings can be made by calling the Proserpine Entertainment Centre on 4945 2312 or at the ticket office at the centre.
