Magnums voted best backpackers
AIRLIE Beach favourites Magnums Backpackers took out the award for best Backpackers Accomodation at the Whitsunday Tourism Awards hosted by the Whitsunday Sailing Club on Saturday night.
Operations and Marketing Manager Elizabeth Hackett said that Magnums was the original backpackers in Airlie Beach and that they understood the importance of carrying on that tradition.
“To win this award was a great acknowledgement of the job being done by the team. It takes a great team to build a dream,” she said.
“Magnums Backpackers continue to be in very good hands with many long-term employees.
Magnums, the Whitsundays original backpackers is a unique property passionately operated by a group of highly motivated and educated locals.
